The italian confectionery industry is of course the strongest competitor for all the small taste's artisans ....., so cookies, nougats, chocolates etc. on sale already with low prices and sometimes also on special offer, like "3 x 2", into supermarket; then also the question "panettone" sometimes on sale by ridiculous price, for example euro 1,30 each, when that price represents the costs of the package alone.

So the idea of competition to these industrial colossus, it's like an impossible mission for all people intend to use only first quality materials and putting aside freeze-dried eggs or cream in powder or flavourings or colourings or preservatives and so on. All these ploys are used of course to cut drastically the production costs, offering finally products like cookies and chocolate by a very low price.

Fortunately there are also others, who produce with higher costs but offering at the end a genuine and delicious product.

By this reason we have decided to offer the products of Bonci confectionary, situated in Montevarchi (almost all seasonal products !), a well-known company conducted now by three Bonci Brothers who are producing regularly excellent pastries as the famous worldwide Panbriacone. Or the Panpepato, a Medicean cake done still now with the same old recipe or another speciality like the Panforte from Montevarchi. While for chocolate we have chosen La Molina, situated not far from our seat; we know well the owners and we know perfectly how they work and produce the chocolates with high attention to the packaging too. They use of course the best cacao from the whole world as Cuba, Ecuador, Tanzania and Venezuela. Finally we offer also the cookies of Branchetti factory; the so famous Cantucci from Prato with almonds, the cookies with coffee, the cookies with chocolate and orange, and the cookies with figs and walnuts, all homemade produced by Branchetti family, owner also of the historical bakery in Prato. All genuine products, prepared with simple but natural ingredients following the original recipes.
