This section has been called "Fish Delicatessen", because they are really delicious products. Few things but strictly selected, offering the "best" of italian and european fish panorama.
Tuna fish and salted mullet role from italian sea, fillets and eggs Balik salmon from Norway and other specialities from spanish coasts of Galicia.
One example are the products of Campisi company of Pachino, on the top from many years for the italian fish canning industry, with the excellent Red Tuna fillets in oil, or Tuna Fish Ventresca or Tuna Mosciame. All produced by 100% italian tuna, fished and hooked on the sicilian coasts. Then the salted mullet role, but which one ? The sardinian one from Cabras, produced by Manca Brothers, one of the best on sale due to the perfect microclimate conditions where the mullets are living and thanks also to water pureness on which they are feeding. Furthermore there are also the Balik salmon fillets, smoked on sweet wood as the old traditional russian process. These salmon fillets are really smoked on reservation (!), in fact the reservation is needed some days in advance to be able to taste them perfectly. They contain no preservatives or colouring matter and so fully different from many salmons on the market, which are smoked by chemical way using syringes, which give a "burnt" sensation.
Not to forget also the Tuna fish of the spanish company Ramon Pena, very similar to our mediterranean tuna fish; a three generations canning industry of Galicia region.
Into its Gourmet collection there are also the small squids and sardines in olive oil, all prepared and done with fresh fish. At the end there are also pre-sliced salmons from Norway and Scottland, ready to be tasted on exquisite bruschetta. So only rarities from the sea for exacting palates ....!
