Typical Tuscan Gastronomy - "Pappa al Pomodoro" (Tomato Mush) gr.314
It has been the food for children from old generations. It was easy and enough to mix some bread in water or stock, together with garlic, salt and olive oil and the dish was ready ! Tomato was an optional. Garlic was beneficial because it helped to eliminate "worms" and so it was used also in good quantities.
You can now easily warm it on a small pan with few water and then you can serve tepid adding some olive oil. Absolutely no use of cheese.
